We don’t see a lot of king parrots in our yard, but occasionally we get the privilege. I have these pictures of this one in particular where he is so upright – it amused me. 
This is a part of my splatter paint series. 
Painting these is pure joy: I literally throw paint on the canvas and then paint what the painting shows me. 
There are bees hidden amongst the flowers to find. I love creating paintings that have something hidden for those who are really interested in them.
