On the way up the hill, the council planted the most beautiful crabapple trees. When they lose their leaves, they aren’t much to look at, but in spring there is nothing like them, they are absolutely packed with the most stunning flowers. The colour is so vibrant that no matter what I do, I can’t seem to match the intensity of the pink! What a wonder the crabapple is, and such a gift to all who take the time to look at it.
