I absolutely fell in love with Little Beach at Nelson Bay. The tranquility of it would leave even the most stressed out soul at peace. I also love the crazy antics of the pelicans. Somehow they are so graceful and majestic and awkward at the same time. They supply an endless source of entertainment and artistic inspiration.

This is a commission that I had been working on for my cousin and her family.

This was a commission piece made as a gift. I wanted to create a peace that took the receiver to her “happy place”, a place of peace and serenity.

Things have been tough but I am working through all the challenges in life, trying to find my way through the mud and floods, but I am again finding peace, through the grace of God.
After a visit to The Entrance to spend time with a great group of friends, and seeing the divine beauty of the area, I was inspired to paint a couple of quick and restful pieces.
