We went on a family adventure in the last holidays and discovered a peaceful oasis at Casuarina. 
I fell in love with the serenity of this place, I loved the mixture of the long white beach beside this gorgeous tree lined board walk. It was the perfect place to walk and read. 
To make this painting I started off with an abstract splattering of paint with impasto. It required lots of throwing and flicking of paint, then an overlay of a variety of textures to create a base of texture which I then developed.
